Community Relations

In accordance with our Corporate Philanthropy Policy, funding will not be made to support the following types of organizations:

• Individuals, with the exception of physicians authorized to practice medicine in Canada
• Fraternal/labor/veteran organizations and activities
• For-profit organizations, with the exception of pharmacies that make requests for funding towards patient related programs, such as:  drug information day, asthma clinic, cholesterol testing day, HPV education, etc.
• Religious organizations or groups whose activities are primarily sectarian in purpose (programs open to the community or providing a community benefit may qualify for funding)
• Organizations that negatively discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, national origin, veteran's status or disability
